About Me
I strive to provide professional, and affordable, TCIC/TLETS & TCOLE training for all Public Safety professionals. With 30 years of front-line 9-1-1 Telecommunicator experience, I am able to provide my students with key problem-solving & management skills in addition to the required curriculum.
After I graduated from Mineola High School in 1996, I began working part-time as a Dispatcher for the Mineola Police Department while attending college at Tyler Junior College (TJC). In 1999, I graduated college with my Associate degree in Applied Science (EMT-Paramedic) & continued working part-time for the Mineola Police Department and other miscellaneous full time employment.
In 2002, I began working for the Winnsboro Police Department as a full-time Telecommunicator, where I obtained my Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Telecommunicator certifications. In 2004, I transferred to the Grimes County Sheriff's Office due to my ex-wife receiving job promotion in Bryan/College Station. In 2005, I returned back to East Texas and began my current position with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, where I promoted to Dispatch Supervisor in 2013. In 2014, I was certified as an Associate Trainer with the Texas Department of Public Safety, followed by earning my Master Telecommunicator license in 2020. Finally, in 2022, I became a CPR Instructor thru the American Heart Association.
